Hear from learners, educators, and partners about how Free Tech Institute has inspired them to take control of their digital journey and future.
As a university, we’re proud to have contributed to organizing this event. We were truly impressed by the quality and creativity of our students’ presentations—especially their innovative spirit and ability to address complex concepts rarely explored in our country. We strongly encourage them to keep innovating and working on ideas with global relevance. As technology evolves, so must our academic programs. That’s why we regularly review and update our curricula to meet real societal needs—and we plan to do the same with this emerging technology.

As the Director of Lycée Technique New Generation, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the Free Tech Institute and its partner SkyNet Burundi for integrating our school into their digital training program. The relevance of the modules, especially those on research techniques and digital marketing, has been remarkable, offering a strong complement to our existing curriculum. Despite some scheduling challenges, the selected graduating students have gained valuable skills that will serve them well in both their academic and professional journeys. I strongly encourage the continuation and expansion of this program, even during school holidays, to further strengthen the integration of digital tools in our education system.
Director of Lycée Technique New Generation
As someone passionate about marketing, I saw the opportunity offered by the Free Tech Institute and SkyNet Burundi as the perfect chance to deepen my knowledge in digital marketing. Through this training, I discovered just how powerful the Internet and social media can be in reaching people far beyond the limits of traditional marketing. This experience truly inspired me. It led me to co-found the 'Vision Digital Club,' an initiative dedicated to promoting responsible and inclusive digital engagement, especially among young girls in Burundi. Even with the challenges of school, I remain fully committed to this project because I firmly believe it can play a key role in advancing digital inclusion for girls in my country.
